Name: Hinshu
Nickname: Lantern Keeper (His Grandfather Gave it to him)
Personality: His good and his bad.
Good:
Informative:
He love’s telling other people about lanterns, not because he loves them. But because he want’s others to enjoy them to, he wants to see people hang them up outside there shop’s or home’s, just so he can comment and tell the owner how beautiful they are.
Caring:
Hinshu love’s everybody because that’s the way he was raised. To Love other’s and to not hate... even though there are moment’s he doesn't like people, Hinshu is the type of guy to stop and help somebody out, even if he doesn't know them. Someone need’s direction’s he will point them the way, or explain it. If someone need’s sugar or flour to make a cake, he lends it (of course he always gets a slice), that’s just who he is. Hinshu is a caring Makotl, because his mother raised him that way.
Sharing:
Hinshu love’s sharing, that’s why he work’s down at the festival, so every little child could have fun, and so he too could share the joy he felt as a child at the very same festival, just years later. And that he does, if another store holder need’s help, he will gladly offer it, if someone is without lunch he will share it with them. Or give it to them, he is not a particularly selfish person and he doesn't want to be, because his afraid of becoming selfish. Not wanting to lose the people who are close to him.
Serious:
Despite his aloof and airy personality, Hinshu is quiet a serious young male, he takes pride in doing what he does, which is helping to run a stall at the Festival, the same festival he went to as a child. He is very dedicated when it comes to decorating the lantern’s to sell or give out, because to him. He believes that every child should have a lantern to scare away the monster’s in there room.
Sentimental:
Of course, Hinshu is sentimental, most of the things he owns at the current moment are things from his childhood, building blocks to rubber duckies, and he kept it all. One of the room’s in his current house just has boxes upon boxes of childhood toys and memories, like clothing or drawings... there’s even a little mug he made for his mother when he was very young, his grandpa helped him of course, but other than that, his only sentimental towards childhood things and items from previous romances.
Romantic:
Hinshu is unfortunately the type of guy to fall in and out of love very quickly, but that’s because his looking for his soul-mate, the perfect Makotl. Even if his dating someone who isn't his soul-mate, he will take them out to the beach, to dinner where ever they want to go. Just to keep them happy, but eventually the fake happiness has to end, and it does. But once Hinshu find’s her perfect match he wants to travel the world with them, show them all the sights and places, but most of all he would shower them with love, any flaw they would have would not bother him, it is just who he is.
Bad:
Airy:
Hinshu is a very airy type of person; he will tend to zone out, or forget he’s talking to someone, which in the end makes people yell at him just so they could get his attention, which doesn't always work, because in the end he will just trail off again in the middle of a conversation and then just stop talking.
Forgetful:
Hinshu forgets things, a lot of thing’s which involve the time and place. He would go into town and just simply stand there having a moment of forgetfulness, which will make him turn around and go back home, ether mumbling to himself about why he went to town, or even why he needed to go there.
Impulsive:
There is a time and place to buy things, and unfortunately for Hinshu that doesn't matter. If he see’s something he would want, even if it’s not a needed item, he will still get it, which is why he has too many lanterns and staff’s. His favored thing to say about his lanterns and staffs are “You can never have too many”.
Childish:
Hinshu is childish, it’s one of the easiest traits but the worst traits you can spot on him, he might be gardening but then all of a sudden he would see a butterfly and stop, just to look at the butterfly not noticing that he stopped what he was originally doing, so most of the time the task he was doing would just remain unfinished for a few days until he starts it back up again, unfortunately he loves to run and play, so he will just run off if he wants to play.
Timid:
Unfortunately Hinshu has never been able to stick up for himself, being a timid pup as a child; he had always hidden behind his mother or his grandfather. He tended to shiver a lot if he got in trouble, or he got scared. Now as an adult he still is a meek and timid Mako, but not all the time. Only if he is afraid to get in trouble at the Festival, which doesn't happen all too often.
Clumsy:
Hinshu tends to drop thing’s... a lot rather it be an accident. He is usually just walking around and will ether trip on his tail, or on his feet and drop what he was carrying, (Nothing to breakable, not after the first accident where he dropped some china plates), he usually gets scolded when he drops them, but after a while they just tend to give him soft plush thing’s to carry around so he doesn't get hurt or hurt other’s when he drops them.
